Optimism
Sunday, June 28, 2009
Lately, I've been having tough days. School is making me really busy. Sometimes, I can't even do the things that I should prioritize more. Like for example, have some time for my family, read the scriptures or attend church activities. That's why I think I'm becoming less spiritual these past few days... or even months.
I've been also dealing with lots of problems. And most of the time, I think I'm all alone. That no one could help me. But that feeling is wrong. No sooner, I realized that someone is always there for me. Aside from my family and friends, there's someone I could always depend on no matter what happen. And that's our dearest Heavenly Father.
Praying was never a hard thing for me to do. It has always been my first action whenever I experience hardships in life. Every time I pray, I feel closer to our Father in Heaven. I feel safe, secure, and loved.
I know He always listens to and answers our prayers. He's there whenever we need Him. He helps us with our problems. Though often times, we're the one who choose to step away from His presence, Heavenly Father is still there for us.
Even though I'm becoming less and less spiritual these days, I know that Heavenly Father will always be there to guide me and make my testimony strong again if I just ask for his help.
Our dearest Father in Heaven knows what we want even before we ask Him in prayers. But He will not give us what we want unless we ask Him personally through prayers. He wants us to depend on Him. He wants us to always remember Him.
Praying never failed me. Praying has always been and will always be the solution to my problems and the answer to my questions.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Stressed
Saturday, June 27, 2009
I'm 30% stressed because of our assignments. I have a very long list of it. Anyway, there is still at least 70% Happy.
I had so much fun yesterday. During our prayer meeting, I introduced my self to the other new comers. I was quite embarrassed when they mentioned my name, and I don't know them yet. I am so happy knowing them after that incident. HAHA! I will be having my covenant this coming July 05, 2009. I'm really excited, not so obvious eh? Really, I am. Then after I have my covenant, I can now join households! Yay! I can also serve during camps. Yay!
I already found out my favorite song: Sorry Sorry - Super Juniors, yeah... Its not yet the best so far but I haven't recovered after I listened to it. I recommend you to check it out. Its a Korean song by the way. Need lyrics? You go look for it by yourself. Take care!
Thankies! That in all things, God may be glorified!- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Another Influenza Victims
Saturday, June 20, 2009
I've heard the news about 8 new victims of the A(h1n1) virus.
Health officials said Saturday that eight people were added to the list of confirmed cases of influenza A (H1N1) in Central Visayas, three of them students of a university in Mandaue City.
As of now, UCLM is at Level 3. At this level, school administrators are advised to declare a 10-day suspension of classes. Oh, they're quite lucky but, I don't want this to happen in our school.
The government discouraged the public against self-medication and warned them against those claiming to have a vaccine for human use against influenza A (H1N1) and I really agree because we are not yet professionals so please, it is better to be sure than to be sorry.
All three UCLM students who contracted H1N1 came from Luzon. The scholarship provided by NSA has beneficiaries from all over the country. DOH-Central Visayas officials asked all the NSA scholars, excluding the seven previously tested, to submit swab samples for lab testing. In my past entry, I stated that many people have died because of this influenza. But I think the A(h1n1) virus is not very complicated than the normal flu. I can't explain why I thought so. Well, my thoughts are unique. HAHA! That in all things GOD may be glorified.

Getting Ready
Wednesday, June 17, 2009
Its already 1:10 pm. This coming 1:50, we will be having a quiz in math. I'm really nervous because from our past worksheets, I have not tried getting a good score, not once! I'm hoping to score much later. I've studied last night but not all lessons covered for the test. May GOD BLESS ME!

Independence Day
Saturday, June 13, 2009
Haha! It is not yet too late for me to make a blog about what happened yesterday.
Yesterday, Filipinos celebrated their "Independence Day". I'm a Filipino and I'm proud to be one. Nothing special happened during that event. I did normal things as a student. I did my homework and finished my tasks in the house. But earlier that morning, my classmates went to someone's house. We practiced our presentation for our next week's exercise. It was amazingly successful. We also watched Princess Hours. HAHA! It was still fun though. I'm not a fan, but I find it really cute.
Anyway I'm currently listening to my playlist in imeem. My best playlist so far.

Yeaaah! Its cool, I know. Haha! I'll try to make it more updated soon. May God Bless the Earth! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Starfish!
Wednesday, June 10, 2009
For me, they are very interesting creatures belonging to the class Asteroidea. They have a rough surface and they come in different, bright colors. Starfishes or sometimes called sea stars, are widely used for decorations and are collected by many people all over the world. I'd like to start a starfish collection someday, too. Big or small, bright or dark, they all look wonderful. Here are some interesting facts I discovered about starfishes.
+ Some starfishes have more than 5 arms. Cool! + They use their feet to move around the ocean floor and to open scallops or clams. + They have two stomachs. + They have a mouth! It can be located underneath their upper surface. + Starfishes actually have microscopic eyes at the end of every arm they have. + The coolest fact: In case a starfish loses one of its arm, it is able to regenerate another one!
So they are indeed very complex creatures. No wonder I love strolling by the seashore and scrounging for starfishes. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
