Damath Week and Theater Arts
Monday, July 13, 2009
The primary things in our minds were our assignments. During the 3 days of staying in school for our theater arts workshop / Basic Integrated Theater Arts Workshop (BITAW), everyone was worried, exhausted, and more or less 80% stressed. We had a very long list of work to do away from the activity. Nothing was done for the fact that our every minute has a variety of activities to do. That week was also our Damath week. We were so busy about that too. It became a reason why my list became even longer. Honestly, I have no interest in winning the games, all I want was the grade I will get from each wins I make. Anyway, until now, I'm still very busy, but I would still like to make my blog become updated. HAHA!
Here are some images when we had our damath games:

The Moon, Shadow and Myself
Sunday, July 12, 2009
With a jar of wine I sit by the flowering trees.
I drink alone, and where are my friends?
Ah, the moon above looks down on me;
I call and lift my cup to his brightness.
And see, there goes my shadow before me.
Ho! We're a party of three, I say,—
Though the poor moon can't drink,
And my shadow but dances around me,
We're all friends to-night,
The drinker, the moon and the shadow.
Let our revelry be meet for the spring time!
I sing, the wild moon wanders the sky.
I dance, my shadow goes tumbling about.
While we're awake, let us join in carousal;
Only sweet drunkenness shall ever part us.
Let us pledge a friendship no mortals know,
And often hail each other at evening
Far across the vast and vaporous space!

The man on the moon, alone there in space
We see as a sunny reflection
His smile shows his mirth
To us here on earth
With his lunar facial expression
As he circles our globe at a dizzying pace
Controlling our tides and our waves
We wonder just how
That high jumping cow
Has managed to so misbehave
Mister Moon has a way of enticing romance
Along with those stars way above
Regardless of age
The Moon is the sage
At beguiling romantics in love
Shine on Mister Moon, in your way out expanse
We mortals on Earth need your light
Your shine’s for us fateful
For your beacon we’re grateful
You moonshine our earth every night
